''Am Contented At Arsenal'' Wenger Tells The French Football Federation!

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has reiterated his commitment with Arsenal after he turned down an offer from the French Football Federation to coach the national team in the wake of Laurent Blanc’s resignation. Blanc resigned following Les Blues elimination from Euro 2012 and the Arsenal tactician was in the French football federation’s shortlist alongside Marseille coach, Didier Deschamps. Noel Le Great, the FFF president approached Wenger for the vacant French coach position but the Arsenal boss turned down the offer sighting his Arsenal contract. “There are a lot of names. But me, I will be very busy with Arsenal where my contract still runs for two years.” He told Telefoot. Wenger is the longest serving Arsenal manager having joined the London based club back in 1996 establishing himself as the most successful Arsenal coach ever. Despite a trophy less spell stretching back to 2005 when Arsenal last won silverware in the FA Cup, the Arsenal hierarchy have always remained confident in the French international a fact underlined by Wenger’s lucrative deal he signed last year that made him the highest paid manager in the Premier League.
